Michael Holcomb

Principal Engineer at Exponent

Michael Holcomb has extensive work experience in engineering and consulting roles. Michael began their career at the Chevrolet Engineering Center as a Staff Analysis Engineer in 1968. Michael then joined General Motors Corporation Engineering Staff and worked as a Principal Staff Analysis Engineer for over 19 years. In 1990, they transitioned to Biodynamic Research Corporation, where they served as the Vice President and focused on accident reconstruction. In 1995, Holcomb founded their own company, M.P. Holcomb Engineering Corporation, where they held the roles of President and Consultant until 2012. Since then, they have been working as a Principal Engineer at Exponent.

Michael Holcomb attended General Motors Institute (now Kettering University) from 1959 to 1964, where they obtained a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree with a specialization in Automotive Engineering. In September 1971, they also obtained the certification of Registered Professional Engineer.
