Dr. Michael Lumpkin is a board-certified toxicologist with over 20 years of experience in various aspects of toxicology, including chemical dose response assessment and risk communication. Currently a Senior Managing Scientist at Exponent, they have previously held positions such as Senior Toxicologist at CTEH® and Manager-Toxicologist at Environ International Corporation. Dr. Lumpkin has coauthored numerous peer-reviewed assessments for organizations like USEPA and ATSDR and has developed exposure models for several compounds. They earned a B.S. and a Ph.D. in biochemistry and toxicology from The University of Georgia.
