Mike Synodis

Mike Synodis, Ph.D., P.E., CFEI, is a technical consultant specializing in energy storage systems with a focus on battery technology. They completed their Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering at Bucknell University and went on to earn a Ph.D. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. They have previously worked as a student research assistant, where they developed a 3-D computer model for solid oxide fuel cells and presented their findings at national conferences. Currently, they serve as a Senior Managing Engineer at Exponent, providing technical analysis and leading investigations related to battery performance and safety.
