Wallace Hui

Wallace Hui is a PhD-trained biomedical optical research scientist currently at the Schepens Eye Research Institute (Harvard Medical School), specializing in the development of implantable optical sensors for ophthalmology. Previously, they worked at Massachusetts Eye and Ear, where they developed innovative fiber-optic intraocular pressure sensors and conducted significant research on glaucoma management. Wallace has a rich background in nanophotonics, microfabrication, and optical metrology, with earlier experiences that include a Research Fellow position at Harvard Medical School and various roles in optoelectronics and nonlinear optics. They hold a PhD in Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering from Harvard University and a BS in the same fields from Cornell University.
