Yingjie Wu

Yingjie Wu has a diverse work experience. They are currently employed at Exponent, starting as an Associate in July 2020 and progressing to become an Engineer in October 2022, and subsequently a Senior Engineer in March 2023. Prior to Exponent, Yingjie worked as a Lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley from January 2021 to May 2023. They also gained teaching experience as a Graduate Student Instructor from August 2016 to May 2020 and conducted research as a Graduate Student Researcher from June 2016 to May 2020, both at the University of California, Berkeley.

Yingjie Wu completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering at Tongji University from 2010 to 2014. Yingjie then pursued further education at the University of California, Berkeley, where they obtained a Master of Science in Structural Engineering, Mechanics and Materials from 2014 to 2015. Following this, they continued their studies at the University of California, Berkeley and earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Structural Engineering, Mechanics and Materials from 2015 to 2020. Additionally, Yingjie Wu obtained the Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the California Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists in September 2022.
