Conor Riordan has a diverse work experience in the field of multimedia reporting and digital content editing. Conor started their career as a Trainee Reporter for Highland News at Scottish Provincial Press in November 2014 and worked there until August 2015. Conor then joined Aberdeen Journals as a Multimedia Reporter for Evening Express from August 2015 to May 2017. Conor then moved to PA Media and served as a Multimedia Reporter for PA Scotland from May 2017 to July 2021. Currently, Conor is working as a Digital Content Editor at ExpoPlatform, starting in July 2021.
Conor Riordan has a strong educational background that spans several institutions and disciplines. Conor began their academic journey at Wirral Grammar School for Boys from 2001 to 2008. After completing their secondary education, Conor pursued a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) degree in English from the University of Aberdeen, where they studied from 2008 to 2013.
Building upon their undergraduate studies, Conor enrolled at Robert Gordon University in 2013 and earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Journalism by 2014. Equipped with a strong foundation in communication, they furthered their education by undertaking a doctoral program. From 2021 to 2025, Conor is expected to be pursuing a PhD in Communication Sciences at Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
