Adam Smith, MBA, possesses extensive experience in corporate lending, particularly within the mining and extractive sector, at Export Development Canada since January 2008. Key roles have included Principal in Corporate Lending, Special Risks Manager, and Senior Financing Manager, where Adam has effectively managed corporate client portfolios, provided mentorship, and ensured transaction oversight. Previous positions involved handling international financing for mid-market clients, conducting due diligence in corporate lending, and underwriting transactions for small business financing. Adam has also served as a Teaching Assistant at Carleton University and holds an MBA from Queen's University, alongside a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Economics from Carleton University and an exchange degree from Lancaster University.
