Amesika Baeta

Amesika Baeta, CITP FIBP, currently serves as the Regional Director at Export Development Canada since April 2014, overseeing a team of eight relationship managers dedicated to assisting Canadian companies with international competitiveness through knowledge, financing, and risk management solutions. Prior to this role, Amesika held various positions including President of the Organization of Women in International Trade’s Toronto Chapter and Director of Member Relations & Development at I.E. Canada. Earlier experience includes working as a Trade Assistant for the U.S. Commercial Service and Bilingual Social Policy Researcher at SPR Associates Inc. Academically, Amesika has earned an M.A. in International Development from The University of Manchester and has completed several certificates in business and international trade.
