Benoit Dumont

Benoit Dumont, MBA, CPA, brings extensive experience in corporate lending and financing, currently serving as Director of Corporate Lending International at Export Development Canada (EDC) since April 2012, where a portfolio of over US$7 billion in corporate loan assets is managed. Previous roles at EDC include Senior Financing Manager and Financing Manager, focusing on transaction processes and credit due diligence. Prior to EDC, experience was gained at Desjardins in multiple roles, including Senior Associate and Underwriter in corporate and asset-backed lending. Additional expertise includes operations management and financial advisory roles. Benoit holds an MBA with Honours in Financial Services from UQAM, a CPA from the Université du Québec en Outaouais, and a B.A.A. in Management from Université Laval. Currently pursuing the CSC certification, Benoit combines strong academic credentials with a robust professional background in finance.
