Calvin Xiao

Calvin Xiao, MBA, CITP, PMP, currently serves as a Relationship Manager for Mid-Market at Export Development Canada, overseeing a portfolio of Canadian exporters in the GTA aimed at international growth. Additionally, Calvin mentors entrepreneurs in the Indo-Pacific region through Startup Canada, facilitating their global expansion efforts. Previously, as Director of International Business Development and Strategy at Catalystx, Calvin supported Prairie-based businesses in cross-border e-commerce initiatives. Calvin's earlier roles include Marketing Manager at Norseman Structures, where extensive international trade event coordination and digital marketing strategy development occurred, and various account management positions at Tap Communications, Ogilvy & Mather, and Grey Group, delivering significant growth and client relationship management. Calvin holds an MBA from the University of Saskatchewan and a Bachelor's degree in Language Interpretation and Translation from Beijing International Studies University, with ongoing education at CPA Ontario and the Corporate Finance Institute.
