Daniel Kirshner, CFA, is a seasoned professional in private equity and corporate lending, currently serving as a Senior Associate at Export Development Canada since May 2019, where responsibilities include directing and funding investments in venture capital and mid-market private equity. With prior experience in underwriting syndicated loans for mid-market and large corporations in various sectors, including Oil & Gas, Daniel has developed a comprehensive skill set through roles at companies like Rustica Foods Inc. as a Board Observer, and Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton as an Analyst. An academic background in finance from the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa, complemented by specialized training in the petroleum industry from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, enhances Daniel's expertise in financial analysis and investment strategies.
