Hasrat Kathuria

Hasrat Kathuria is a Junior Associate with Export Development Canada, specializing in climate change and energy transitions, and concurrently serves as a Research Assistant at Carleton University focusing on decarbonizing the steel industry in India. With experience as a Co-op Student at Waste Connections of Canada, Hasrat ensured regulatory compliance through inspections and sampling, while also enhancing the site's ESG score. Previously, as an Associate Consultant at KPMG India, Hasrat developed sustainability reports and strategies that significantly improved ESG ratings for clients. A former Junior Research Fellow at the Defense Research and Development Laboratory, Hasrat analyzed climatic impacts on the Northwestern Himalayas and Northeast India.
