Julia Lawson

Julia Lawson, CPA, CA, has extensive experience in financial analysis and accounting, currently serving as a Senior Financial Analyst at Export Development Canada since October 2014, specializing in both insurance and loans accounting, as well as credit risk analysis. Prior to this role, Julia held various positions at Export Development Canada, including Financial Standards Manager and financial analyst roles within the Corporate Accounting Team. Additionally, Julia served as Treasurer for the Board of Directors at First Place OPTIONS from May 2014 to June 2020, and worked as a Senior Staff Accountant at Welch LLP from January 2011 to October 2014. Julia's earlier experience includes roles as an Accounting Assistant at Carleton University and as a Bookkeeper at Canadian Shielding, Inc. Julia holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from Carleton University, completed in 2010.
