Laura Richardson has extensive experience in advisory and management roles, currently serving as an Advisor on the International and Export Credit Agency Relations Team at Export Development Canada since November 2016, where responsibilities include managing a portfolio of over 150 small and micro businesses throughout Western Canada. Prior roles at Export Development Canada included Project Advisor, Senior Trade Advisor, Trade Advisor, and Customer Care Associate, focusing on client support, training, and credit insurance portfolio management. Prior to EDC, Laura held various positions at DAVIDsTEA and WestJet, showcasing strong leadership, client service, and operational skills. Laura holds multiple Bachelor’s degrees in Politics, History, and Public Affairs, with a diverse educational background that underscores a commitment to professional development.
