Leah Gilbert Morris

Leah Gilbert Morris is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in public affairs, international relations, and environmental sustainability. Since January 2025, Leah has served as a Representative to the Berne Union Management Committee. Leah has held various leadership roles at Export Development Canada since August 2017, including Vice-President of Public Affairs & International Relations, Director of International & ECA Relations, Deputy Secretary & Director of Corporate Secretariat, and Principal ESG Advisor. Additionally, Leah chaired the Climate Working Group at Berne Union from January 2022 to June 2023 and held significant positions at the OECD and Finance Canada. Leah's academic credentials include a Certificate in International Sustainable Development Diplomacy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University, a Master's degree in Geography and Environmental Studies from Carleton University, and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science with a minor in Economics from the same institution.
