Roman Chomyn

Roman Chomyn is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the field of project finance and credit management, predominantly at Export Development Canada (EDC) since June 1997. Currently serving as Sr. Project Finance Manager for Renewable and Sustainable Technologies, Roman focuses on the Resource, Renewables, and Cleantech sectors, evaluating financial and non-financial risks associated with EDC's loan portfolio. Previous roles at EDC include Portfolio Manager for the Extractive & Resources sectors, managing a credit portfolio exceeding $15 billion, and responsibilities for a substantial portfolio of aircraft and rail assets. Prior professional experience includes management roles in transportation engineering at Greer Galloway and Cansult Limited. Roman holds an MBA in General Management and Finance from Ivey Business School at Western University and a B.Eng. in Civil Engineering from Ryerson University.
