Ross Prusakowski

Ross Prusakowski is a seasoned economist with extensive experience in economic analysis and country risk assessment, currently serving as the Deputy Chief Economist and Director at Export Development Canada since April 2013. In this role, Ross leads the Country and Sector Intelligence team, focusing on providing insights into risks and opportunities for Canadian exporters. Previous positions at Export Development Canada include Director and Acting Director of the Economic and Political Intelligence Centre, and Manager and Principal Economist, where responsibilities included overseeing economic forecasting and country risk ratings. Prior engagements include roles at the Conference Board of Canada, Mining Industry Human Resources, the Government of Alberta, and leadership positions in student media organizations. Ross holds a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Alberta.
