Ryan Smith

Ryan Smith has extensive experience in financial institutions, currently serving as the Partnerships Director at Export Development Canada since August 2005. Previous roles at the organization include Manager of International Financing Guarantee and Financing Manager for both Corporate and Asset Backed Lending and International Financing Guarantee, as well as Underwriter for Credit Insurance. Prior to Export Development Canada, Ryan Smith worked as a Mortgage Underwriter at Firstline (CIBC) Mortgages Inc. from September 2001 to April 2005. Ryan Smith holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce with a Finance Major from the University of Ottawa, completed in 2001.
