Shelley MacLean

Shelley Maclean serves as the Director of Corporate Communications at Calian Group since July 2024. With a robust background in communications, Shelley has been a Principal in External Communications & Special Projects at Export Development Canada since March 2017, focusing on building teams to enhance branding and support Canadian companies in exporting. Previously, at the Ottawa Humane Society, Shelley managed corporate partnerships and events to support animal welfare, and at Nordion, developed significant public relations campaigns in partnership with government and medical professionals. Shelley’s career began in public relations with roles at AECL and the Department of National Defence. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Queen's University, a Public Relations Certification from Algonquin College, and a degree in Advertising from Cambrian College.
