Shirley Byrns is a seasoned leader in transformation and change management with extensive experience across multiple sectors. Currently, as a Senior Leader in Transformation and Change at Exportation et Développement Canada (EDC), Shirley oversees enterprise change initiatives and leads a team of 25. Previous roles include Senior Leader of Transformation and Change at Hydro Québec, where expertise in Agile Transformation and digital alignment was provided, and Senior Manager of the Transformation Office at National Bank of Canada, coordinating major cultural and operational transformation efforts. Shirley also held various leadership positions at National Bank and Hydro Québec, focusing on change management, project deployments, and organizational development, demonstrating a consistent record of driving efficiency and innovation through strategic change initiatives. Academically, Shirley holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from HEC Montréal, an MBA from École des sciences de la gestion (ESG UQAM), and a DESS in Management Consulting from the same institution.
