Stephano Carrera

Stephano Carrera CPA, CFA, is currently the Principal - Special Risks at Export Development Canada, a role they have held since 2021. They previously served as VP of the Risk Management Office and Chief Credit Officer, as well as VP of Credit Risk Management at the same organization. With extensive experience in financing roles, including Director of the Financing Center of Expertise and International Relations, Stephano's career at Export Development Canada spanned from 1997 to the present. They earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Ottawa between 1988 and 1992.
