Stephen Goodman

Stephen Goodman is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business development and product management within the technology and mining sectors. Currently serving as Global Trade Director for Mining and Metals at Export Development Canada since November 2020, Stephen focuses on developing export opportunities for Canadian technology and service providers through financial relations with tier-1 miners globally. Previously, Stephen held senior roles at Schneider Electric, including Senior Product Line Manager, where responsibilities included leading the transition of wireless business and promoting IoT solutions. Stephen's earlier positions include Vice President roles at Control Microsystems, Seaway Networks, and SpaceBridge Inc., where significant contributions were made in product line growth and market strategies. Stephen holds a PhD in Materials, along with a Master's in Metallurgical Engineering and a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, all from Queen's University.
