Steven Richards is an accomplished SVP & Chief Risk Officer at Export Development Canada, where they have served since 2024. Previously, Steven held various roles in risk management, including Managing Director at CPP Investments from 2013 to 2024, and was AVP of Global Risk Management at Manulife from 2007 to 2013. With extensive experience as a risk manager, project manager, and engineer in infrastructure and telecom from 1995 to 2007, Steven worked on projects in Tokyo, London, and across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. They are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering at Queen's University.
