Thomas Brown

Thomas Brown is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in portfolio and treasury management. Currently serving as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Export Development Canada since November 2014, Thomas focuses on both short-term and long-term funding strategies. Previous roles include Portfolio Manager in Treasury, where the focus was on funding within the front office, and Senior Financial Analyst at Finance Canada, contributing to the development of Canada's green bond framework and the issuance of a $5 billion inaugural green bond. Prior positions include senior consulting roles at PwC, specializing in treasury and commodity trading, and teaching English and Physical Education. Thomas holds a Chartered Accountant designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and a BA in Economics with a minor in Ethics from Western University.
