Jeff Gaul

Jeff Gaul has been working in web development since 1999. Jeff'sfirst role was as an Interactive Designer at GiftCertificates.com, where they created an online brand identity and designed website and user interfaces. In 2000, they moved to Music Hall 2000 as a Senior Interactive Designer, directing website reorganization and redesign and creating interactive, database-driven Flash content. From 2001 to 2004, they were a Senior Interactive Designer at CONTRACT, working with NYC clients on traditional and digital illustration and animation, print design, page layout, and more. In 2004, they joined Lyons & Sucher Advertising as the Director of Digital Design and Development, overseeing front and back end development of websites, mobile applications, and point of sale touchscreen applications. In 2013, they became the Interactive Director at Leibowitz, managing multiple concurrent web application project timelines and serving as a development lead. In 2015, they began Contract work as the Director of Development and Interactive Media, providing web strategy, management, and development, as well as brand development, design, and video production. Finally, in 2018, they joined Expression Networks LLC as a Senior Web Developer (Full Stack), working on state.gov rebranding and moving the State Department website and associated web properties to new infrastructure.

Jeff Gaul attended Ohio University from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Telecommunications. Jeff also has a certification from Code School in Shaping up with Angular.js.
