Jonas Holmberg is a seasoned cultural professional currently serving as Museum Director at Kalmar konstmuseum and Archive Director at Designarkivet since 2024. Holmberg has been a Board Member at Konstnärsnämnden since 2022 and has held the role of Cultural Writer at Expressen since 2009. Additionally, Holmberg was the Artistic Director and Head of International Programme at Göteborg Film Festival from 2012 to 2024, and Artistic Director at Draken Film during the same period. From 2019 to 2022, Holmberg served as Chairperson of the Film Policy Council for Distribution and Exhibition at the Swedish Film Institute, and previously chaired the Board of Föreningen Svenska Filmfestivaler from 2016 to 2020.
