Susanne Franssen is a Senior Data Scientist at ExpressionEdits since September 2023, with a robust academic and research background in evolutionary genomics. Previously, Susanne served as an Assistant Professor at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, conducting independent research on the evolutionary genomics and adaptation of the parasite Leishmania. Susanne's experience also includes a postdoctoral researcher role at the Wellcome Sanger Institute, focusing on the evolutionary genomics of Leishmania, where Susanne led project initiatives and supervised student rotation projects. Earlier, at Vetmeduni Vienna, Susanne researched the genetic basis of adaptation with a focus on experimental evolution and employed a bioinformatics toolset developed in Python, R, and bash scripting. ExpressionEdits

At ExpressionEdits we are redefining the status quo of protein expression. Our proprietary platform developed at University of Cambridge improves transgene expression in mammalian systems. This has direct impact on recombinant protein yields and the quality and efficacy of DNA medicines. If you think our technology can help you or you'd like to learn more about it, please get in touch: hello@expressionedits.com
