Andrei Ion

Andrei Ion has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Senior Area Manager for Europe, Mediterranean & Caspian at Expro since February 1998, Andrei has held various senior management roles covering multiple regions, including CIS, East Europe, Southeast Africa, and Angola. Previous roles at Expro include District Manager and Country Manager, alongside operational positions such as Operations Coordinator and WT Field Engineer. Prior to joining Expro, Andrei worked at OMV Petrom from September 1993 to January 1998, where responsibilities included Production Engineer, Well Intervention Engineer, and Junior Petroleum Engineer, focusing on production planning and offshore operations.
