Brett Silich

Brett Silich serves as the Director at Expro Group since March 2023, overseeing vessel and rig-based well intervention operations in the US, Europe, and APAC while focusing on strategy development and M&A initiatives. As the Founder and Director of Wallaby Engineering Ltd since June 2013, Brett offers strategic advisory and operational leadership in multiple industries, including oil & gas and mining. In addition, Brett is the Managing Director and CEO at Sottomarine Corporation, focusing on marine mining technology. Previously, Brett held roles such as Global Commercial Manager at VEEM Ltd, driving significant profitability improvements, and International Commercial Director at CNOOC, managing a $1.5 billion international EPC business. With a foundation in subsea engineering as the CEO and Founder of Velocious Pty Ltd, Brett has successfully scaled the business and facilitated its sale to Proserv. Education includes a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from Curtin University, along with qualifications from the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Welltrain.
