Mark Colby has extensive experience in the wireline and slickline operations industry, currently serving as the Operations Coordinator for Expro since March 2014, where responsibilities include overseeing slickline operations for high-pressure contracts at QatarGas. Prior experience includes roles such as Wireline Base Supervisor and Wireline Field Supervisor at MBPS and MB Petroleum Services, respectively, where Mark was instrumental in managing wireline crews, training personnel, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Mark’s career includes significant positions at Expro, Baker Hughes, Northland Energy Services, and other companies, where expertise was developed in various aspects of wireline technology, safety valve inspection, and operational management across diverse environments. Mark achieved foundational training in the oilfield as a Trainee Wireline Operator with Rowan Companies and Baker Hughes, starting a career that reflects a steady ascent through increasing levels of responsibility and technical proficiency.
