Mr. Maya has over 30 years of hands-on operating experience, predominantly in senior management roles. As an intuitive, effective leader, he is astute at restructuring operations for growth and profitability and has a strong track record of proven success. Considered a strategist, he has effectively managed change and crises in several troubled situations towards successful outcomes, constantly driving innovation that has delivered strong bottom-line results.

Augmenting his executive level, company building skill set, Mr. Maya has wide-ranging Board and Chairman level experience that has effectively guided/communicated strategic vision to several senior management teams, while building consensus that drove multiple organizations to success. Having significant experience with private equity and venture funds, Mr. Maya’s leadership spans turnaround and rapid growth environments. He has advised and operated both public and private companies in domestic and international markets. Although Mr. Maya’s experience spans several industries, he has particular core strengths and expertise in the life sciences and various healthcare technologies. He also has wide-ranging software industry experience, including the successful completion of a number of purchase and sale transactions.
