Martin Schmid has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Martin started their career in 1996 at IABG mbH as a Project Engineer and Project Manager. From 1998 to 2002, they worked at Plaut Consulting as a Consultant and Business Unit Manager. Martin then moved to CSC in 2002 and worked as a Key-Account Manager until 2005. After that, they joined PTC as a Key-Account Manager from 2005 to 2009. In 2009, they founded their own strategic consulting company called sbms, where they worked as a Consultant and Owner until 2012. Finally, in 2010, they became the CEO of EXTEDO.
Martin Schmid obtained a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Technical Operations & Sales from Hochschule München & Landshut. Martin completed their studies between 1991 and 1995.
