Bill Hefty

Bill Hefty is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in full stack development and technical leadership. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Engineer at Extend since July 2021, Bill has previously held positions as Staff Engineer and Senior Software Engineer II at the same company. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Software Development Engineer at Whole Foods Market, and Lead Developer positions at Like Minds, LLC and RentMindMe. Bill has also worked as a Media System Engineer at the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin, and served as a Video Network Specialist for Frenship ISD. Early in his career, Bill was an EasyTech Expert at Staples, managing the technology department and computer repair services. Expertise lies in JavaScript, particularly with Node and React/Redux frameworks.
