Kirk Peterson

Kirk Peterson has a strong background in security engineering and software development. Kirk is currently working as a Lead Engineer - Security at Extend since April 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Nike as a Principal Architect - Security, where they designed and implemented security strategies and solutions for common platform engineering and data usage challenges. Kirk also served as a Technical Team Lead at Nike, providing mentoring and training to promote security best practices.

Before joining Nike, Kirk was a Senior Software Engineer at Tozny, where they transitioned their product to a highly-available AWS deployment and developed key authentication features. Kirk also worked at Janrain, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer. Earlier in their career, Kirk served as a Senior Developer at Syncapse, where they developed and integrated scalable services for platform development teams. Kirk also completed multiple professional services engagements during this time.
