Vasu Ramachandraiah

Vasu Ramachandraiah has extensive work experience in the field of engineering. Vasu is currently the Director of Engineering at Extend. Before that, Vasu worked at Samsung Electronics America for nine years, where they held the positions of Sr. Engineering Manager and Software Staff Engineer. At Samsung, Vasu managed and oversaw software projects, ensuring they were completed within budget and on schedule. Vasu also supported quality assurance and troubleshooting throughout the project lifecycle. Prior to Samsung, Vasu worked at Texas Instruments as a Graphics System Software Engineer, where they developed graphic framework enhancements and optimized applications and graphics frameworks on the OMAP platform with Android OS. Vasu also worked at Nokia as a Senior Software Engineer, contributing to the development of Qt Mobility multimedia back-end plugin on Symbian and the OpenMAX AL API on Symbian. Vasu began their career at Specialized Software International and Tata Information Systems Ltd as a Software Engineer.

Vasu Ramachandraiah completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science from the University of Mysore from 1990 to 1993. Vasu later pursued a Master's degree in Computer Applications (M.C.A) from the Karnataka Regional Engineering College, between 1993 and 1996.
