Laura Gallant is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in external relations and media strategy. Currently serving as Director of External Relations at Extendicare since October 2020, Laura has held progressively senior roles within the organization. Previously, Laura worked at Aurora Cannabis Inc. as Senior Media Strategist, leading global communications, media relations, and issues management. Prior to that, Laura served as Press Secretary for multiple ministries within the Government of Ontario, where responsibilities included managing media relations, developing strategic messaging, and contributing to policy communications. Laura holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Gender Studies from the University of Toronto.
