Mark de Haas

Mark de Haas is currently the Technology and Innovation Manager at Exter, where they lead a team of specialists in the transition of savory taste solutions to industrial cooking and baking while striving to reduce fossil energy use and enhance production efficiency. Prior to this, Mark served as an Asset Management and Project Control Consultant at Arcadis from 2015 to 2022, where they applied their expertise in asset management to improve processes and performance analysis. Mark also held roles as a Design Manager for the Afsluitdijk project and managed procurement and purchase operations, focusing on sustainable sourcing and compliance with food safety standards. They earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management from the University of Groningen.
