Mena Ibeku is a dedicated professional currently serving as a Resident Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where responsibilities include managing a diverse community of freshman students. Mena has gained valuable experience as a Data Analytics Research Intern, utilizing drones for agricultural research and contributing to improvements in cranberry crop production. Active participation in programs such as Blacks at Microsoft and The Tech Cadets showcases Mena's commitment to building connections with peers in the tech field. In leadership roles, Mena serves as Treasurer for the National Society of Black Engineers and the University of Massachusetts Amherst Brotherly Union, managing budgets and spearheading fundraising initiatives to support People of Colour on campus. Through a variety of externships, Mena developed skills in business development, sales, content creation, and digital marketing, while also engaging as a Full Stack Developer focused on enhancing communication in low connectivity areas. Mena is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Informatics and previously graduated from Loyola Jesuit College.
