Alan Patterson

Alan Patterson, CPA has a strong work history in the tax field. Alan began their career at Deloitte as a Tax Consultant in 2009 before transitioning to the role of Tax Senior in 2011. In the same year, they joined Extra Space Storage as a Tax Senior, eventually progressing to the positions of Tax Manager, Director of Tax, and Senior Director of Tax. Alan currently holds the role of Vice President of Tax at Extra Space Storage as of January 2022.

Alan Patterson, CPA obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University - Idaho in 2008. Following this, in 2009, they pursued a Masters of Science in Accounting (Tax Emphasis) from the University of Utah.
