David Kapij

David Kapij is a multi-unit operations and leadership development professional with twenty years of diverse experience in areas such as self-storage operations, retail sales, and regional leadership. Previously, David served as a Command Post Controller in the Connecticut Air National Guard and held various sales management positions at AT&T and in the mattress industry, including roles at Sleepy's and Mattress Firm. Most recently, David is the Division Vice President at Extra Space Storage, where they lead operations and team development. David holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Management from Charter Oak State College and a degree in Political Science and Government from Central Connecticut State University.
