Russ Sovde

Russ Sovde is an experienced technology professional currently serving as a Partner Account Manager at Extreme Networks since June 2023. With a robust background in sales engineering, Russ held the position of Vice President of Sales Engineering for North America at Forcepoint from December 2021 to August 2022. Prior to this, at F5 Networks from November 2016 to November 2021, Russ led a team of approximately 70 individuals in the US and Canada as the Senior Director of Solutions Engineering. Russ's extensive career includes significant roles such as Vice President of Systems Engineering and Director of Systems Engineering at Fortinet, as well as consulting roles at Mu Security, and prior systems engineering positions at Juniper Networks and Lucent Technologies. Russ holds a BS degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Willamette University.
