Ali Samii

Ali Samii is a Computational and Data Science Advisor at ExxonMobil, where they lead the development of an in-house reservoir simulator. Previously, Ali served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Oden Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences, focusing on hurricane simulation software and developing the Adcirpolate tool for cross-grid interpolation. Before that, they worked as a Design and Analysis Specialist for Mahab Ghodss Consulting Engineering Company, where they enhanced dam design workflows using computational geometry. Ali holds a PhD in Computational Mechanics from The University of Texas at Austin and is pursuing further education in Civil Engineering at Amirkabir University of Technology.
