David Abt

David Abt is a Senior Geoscience Advisor at ExxonMobil, with previous experience as a Geophysicist where they focused on seismic inversion, velocity analysis, and model building. David completed their BS in Geology with a specialization in Seismology at the University of Oregon and later earned an ScM and PhD in Geophysics and Seismology from Brown University. As a graduate student at Brown, they conducted research on seismic analysis, shear-wave splitting in Central America, and receiver functions in North America.
