Mark Dobin

Mark Dobin is a retired professional with over 40 years of experience in exploration and development within the oil and gas industry, having spent the first nine years of their career at Mobil Oil and the following 31 years at ExxonMobil. Throughout their tenure, Mark specialized in developing innovative seismic interpretation and visualization workflows, serving as a team lead and liaison between researchers and developers. They contributed significantly to technology application across numerous global assets and were instrumental in creating training materials and conducting internal classes. In addition, Mark chaired several committees, including efforts focused on 3D earth model representation and virtual tools for oil and gas challenges. Mark is currently pursuing a degree in Geophysics and Geology at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
