Mark O'Brien

Mark O'Brien is a seasoned Reservoir Manager at ExxonMobil, overseeing teams of geoscientists and reservoir engineers to optimize the economic development of various shale acreage, including the Eagleford, Marcellus, Utica, and Haynesville Basins. Previously, from 2006 to 2019, O'Brien served as the Reservoir Development Manager at XTO Energy, where they managed projects in the Barnett and Eagleford Shales. O'Brien began their career with Exxon Company USA, focusing on surface facilities and reservoir engineering in Alaska and the Permian Basin. They hold a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tulsa, obtained in 1991.
