Toby Short

Toby Short has over 20 years of regulatory and legislative policy experience in both public and private sectors. Currently serving as Senior Director of Government Relations at ExxonMobil, Short previously held the position of Associate Vice President for Federal Affairs at the Environmental Defense Fund, leading a team in advocating for impactful environmental policies. Earlier roles include Director of Federal Government Relations at Duke Energy Corporation and Policy Counsel for the State of Louisiana, where Short acted as the principal liaison with various stakeholders. Toby holds a Doctor of Law degree from George Mason University School of Law and a History degree from Newberry College.
