Michael Doerflinger

Michael Doerflinger is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Vice President Information and Cyber Security, where responsibilities include developing and leading a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy. Alongside this role, Michael has contributed to academia as an Adjunct Assistant Professor and Adjunct Instructor in the Cybersecurity Technology MS Program at the University of Maryland Global Campus from August 2016 to February 2025. Prior experience includes serving as the Business Information Security Officer at McKesson Europe AG, where collaboration with various stakeholders aimed to enhance information security across business units. Michael has also worked as a Lead Information Security Incident Manager at ETAS and held multiple positions within Bosch, Airbus Defence and Space, and the Bundeswehr. Educational credentials feature an Executive CISO Program from Carnegie Mellon University, a Master’s in Computer Forensics, and a Bachelor’s in Information Technology from George Mason University, among other qualifications.
