Aamir Butt

Aamir Butt is an accomplished professional in the field of information security, currently serving as a Director at EY since November 2009, with a progressive career including roles as Senior Manager, Manager, Assistant Manager, Senior Consultant, and Consultant. Aamir has successfully conducted independent evaluations of banks' IT security, focusing on governance, risk management, data protection, network architecture, and business continuity. Aamir's work includes providing actionable recommendations tailored to address identified weaknesses in banking environments. Prior to EY, Aamir worked as an Information Security Officer at Universal Geomatics, where responsibilities included developing company information security policies, ensuring compliance, and coordinating training programs. Aamir holds an MSc in Information Security and Computer Forensics from the University of East London and a BS in Computer Science from the University of Management and Technology.
