Afnan Memon

Afnan Memon has extensive experience in internal auditing and risk management, having served as Group Internal Audit Manager at Exeed Industries from May 2017 to January 2022, where responsibilities included developing auditing strategies and conducting risk assessments. Prior to this role, Afnan worked as Senior Auditor in the Group Internal Audit at Al Ahli Holding Group, an international conglomerate, and as Unit Head of Internal Controls at BankIslami Pakistan Limited, focusing on compliance with internal control frameworks. Afnan's career also includes a tenure as a Risk Advisory Consultant at Ernst & Young, which provided a foundation for adaptability in diverse business processes. Currently, Afnan holds the position of Manager in Enterprise Risk at EY, following a brief role as Manager in Business Risk Services at Grant Thornton UK LLP. Afnan Memon holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Sindh, along with the status of FCCA Member through ACCA.
