Alex Goldsmith

Alex Goldsmith, MBA, CPA, CA, is a Tax Partner in Financial Services at EY, where they provide strategic direction and empathetic team leadership. Previously, Alex held various roles at KPMG Canada, including Partner and Senior Manager in Tax, and served as AVP of Insurance Tax at Sun Life Financial. They have a diverse background in taxation, financial statement audits, and operations across industries such as insurance, banking, and asset management. Alex earned a B. Com in Finance from McGill University and a degree in Accounting from Ryerson University, and is currently completing an Executive MBA at Ivey Business School at Western University, where they are on the Dean's Honour List.
